The initiative was announced by the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratiev at a meeting with the Surkhandarya khokim Akmaljon Makhmudaliev.
The Russian region is also ready to export food and refrigeration equipment for agricultural products to the republic. The head of Surkhandarya noted that the region is interested in purchasing Krasnodar seeds.
Recently, trade between Uzbekistan and the Krasnodar Territory has tripled to $240 million.
By the end of 2023, 13.9 million tons of grain were harvested in the Krasnodar Territory. This year, this figure is expected to reach 14.2 million tons.
