Subsidies will be allocated to entrepreneurs producing and exporting agricultural products

Loans of up to 1.5 trillion soums will be allocated to such business entities, and the costs of participating in exhibitions and fairs will be covered. Diplomatic missions will establish their activities abroad

A presidential decree was adopted "On measures to fulfill the tasks defined within the framework of the President's dialogue with entrepreneurs engaged in the cultivation, production and export of agricultural and food products."

According to the document, in 2024, as part of a comprehensive program of continuous support for small businesses by commercial banks, credit resources in the total amount of up to 1.5 trillion soums will be allocated for activities related to the cultivation, storage, sorting, drying, processing and export of highly profitable and export-oriented agricultural products.

The procedure for submitting an application for the placement of stands of domestic products in the most profitable locations of prestigious international exhibitions and fairs specializing in agricultural products and pre-payment of 100% for these locations at the expense of funds actually allocated to the Trade Promotion Fund will be introduced.

At the same time, subsidies for the costs of participation in exhibitions and fairs are allocated in accordance with the category in the Rating of sustainability of business entities, in particular, classified into the following categories in the established amounts:
— "AAA" - 100%;
— "AA" - 95%;
— "A" - 90%;
— "BBB" - 85%;
— "BB" - 75%;
— "B" - 65%.

If the amount of currency that has not been received within the framework of one export contract for fruit and vegetable products does not exceed 10% of the value of all products shipped for export, it is not considered as overdue accounts receivable and penalties are not applied to the business entity. This procedure came into force on April 1.

Until January 1, 2026, registration as self-employed individuals engaged in collecting agricultural products in makhallas and selling them exclusively to domestic exporting enterprises is allowed.
The diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad will establish the activities of trade agents for the export and sale of domestic agricultural products in the relevant states.
