Sweden is interested in direct supplies of fresh fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan
At the event, organized by the Swedish National Trade Council "Kommerskollegium" and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Stockholm, it was noted that fruit and vegetable products grown in Uzbekistan are exported to Sweden mainly through the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. For this reason, the possibilities of opening warehouses and trading houses for food, fruits and vegetables in the cities of Stockholm and Helsingborg were studied in order to launch direct supplies of export goods.
As reported by the Dunyo news agency, the Swedish side presented information on tariff and legal actions required for the import of fresh fruit and vegetable products to Sweden, the procedure for working with large retail chains and other processes related to foreign economic activity in the country.
During the webinar, issues of supporting representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan and increasing the professional potential of employees of exporting companies within the framework of the Open Trade Gate program of the Kommerskollegium trade council were discussed.
