Livestock farming will receive a further boost in its development.
According to the decree, the procedure for providing subsidies for the import of breeding cattle, sheep, and goats from foreign countries to livestock farms is extended until December 31, 2030.The subsidy established for the import of one-day-old breeding chicks will be provided from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030, only when purchasing one-day-old breeding chicks for meat from local producers.
From January 1, 2026, until the end of 2027, for the import of live cattle (HS code 0102) and live sheep and goats (HS code 0104):
- Postponement of the payment of calculated VAT for up to 180 days is allowed;
- Reimbursement (refund) of paid VAT will be carried out in the manner established by the legislation.
- Veterinary permits and certificates will be reviewed in half the usual time.
- Entrepreneurs producing livestock products will be allowed to pay for the acquisition of land lease rights for growing fodder crops through electronic online auctions in equal installments over 5 years.
